about
Sailing out was written during my search for the elusive meaning of life. I had a good idea I’d never truly find it, but hoped I would stumble upon it. Though everyone eventually finds their own subjective meaning of life, it seems we're always left hungry. I worried that in the distraction of searching, maybe I’d failed to see that all I’ve ever wanted surrounded me.
lyrics
What was that in your head that kept you from sleep?
I’m sailing out now
In the wind you can bend anything you hear
But someone’s wrong
I don’t know if I’ll ever find what I had wanted
Hard to tell would I even know if it arrived?
