There are passing moments in life where you can almost grasp the sweeping reality you’re part of. The fact that every living person on earth is simultaneously having inner thoughts is crippling. But some truths, like life and death, we hide away because we’d rather not believe it. We fool ourselves into thinking that our life is endless, but know deep down it’s but a hiccup in the grand scale of time. From a detached observer’s perspective, it would seem that at one moment we’re all infants and then in a flash we’re taking our last breath. When you’re able to objectively see the sliver of consciousness you were given in the massive timeline of the universe, the whole experience seems dreamlike.
